Meeting Registration Open!

We hope that you will be able to participate in the Wednesday-Thursday, June 20-21 UID/AEA meeting at the Doubletree Hotel in Rosemont, Illinois. This article contains the details you will need to prepare for this session. Please note that an email may have been sent to multiple staff members within your organization, so please be sure to coordinate who will complete the online survey (see #4 below) so that we do not receive multiple submissions for any one association.

Please note, there are five items to address:

Rate is $155 single/double occupancy. Mention AEA when calling for reservations. Check in time is 3:00 p.m. and check out is 12:00 Noon. Any individual cancellations received after 6:00 p.m. the day prior to the arrival date will result in charging the first night’s room and tax to the individual’s credit card.

3. Submit Hotel and Speaker Recommendation Forms

All submissions received by close of business Friday, June 1, 2012 will be included in the meeting booklet for easy reference. If you cannot submit them by that date, please bring 25 copies with you to the meeting so that we may all benefit from one another’s experience.

4. Complete Online Survey

Please take a moment to provide your feedback (by Friday, June 1 2012) to our traditional online survey which provides us with an overview of meeting and membership trends and other pertinent information. Please click here to complete the survey.

5. December Meeting Location Survey

If you recall, AEA met in December at the PGA Resort in Florida. This change to Florida was voted upon by the members of AEA at the June 2011 meeting. The goal was to allow members an opportunity to evaluate a potential meeting hotel that they may not have visited recently. We now have a proposal from the Ocean Reef Resort in Key Largo, Florida (www.oceanreef.com) for December 4-6 at rate of $135 per person, with a $15 per room per night service charge for bellman, valet and housekeepers. So that we may begin working on December date and locations, please respond to a brief survey here.

Based on the survey of dates, we expect a good turnout. We look forward to seeing you soon.
